  1. Some material models are moisture sensitive. They do not differ in high resistance to water, are more suitable for laying in the living room. Often this is an inexpensive laminate, with the right choice it will last a long time without damage.
  2. Low level of sound insulation. Laminate in its pure form will not provide protection against noise, so the neighbors will hear what is happening in the kitchen. To fix the problem, it is recommended that you install an additional layer of material to isolate sounds before laying the floor.
  3. The composition contains chemicals. The budget coating includes formaldehyde resins which, when heated, produce an unpleasant odor and can be harmful to human health. Before acquiring a laminate, you need to pay attention to its composition. On environmentally friendly stands E-1.
