A wooden bread box lasts longer than ever before. This material breathes, preventing the accumulation of moisture and, accordingly, the development of microorganisms. But if long life is more important, it is better to give preference to stainless steel models. At the same time, attention should be paid to ventilation openings: their absence will lead to the formation of condensate, which will adversely affect the preservation of bread.
