"Braid" is a rectangular structure laid crosswise. With this installation method, square voids remain in the joints of the rectangles, filled with inserts that contrast with the rectangles - the main floor area.

There are two laying methods - direct and diagonal layouts. The diagonal is more difficult to work, but it looks more beautiful and elegant. The material consumption with a diagonal layout is 10-15 percent higher than with a straight one. The consumption of material (dies) depends on the selected pattern and varies from 5 to 15% in the direct layout and up to 25% in the diagonal.

How to lay parquet

The foundation of everything is the foundation. For parquet, the foundation is a flat, solid platform that does not allow dies to heave, swing, and creak. The stronger the parquet laying platform, the more durable it can be for decades or even centuries.

Three types of styling make up the main set of options:

2. Two species of wood, from which a two-breed wicker is made, are contrasting. Square inserts are selected in a color darker than the main floor.
3. Three-breed braid differs from previous inserts from thin strips, the color of which differs from insert squares and the main floor. They are inserted on the sides of longer rectangles. Naturally, this species is more expensive than the previous two.

Final operations - grinding and coating with parquet lacquer give the parquet floor a wicker a final festive look.
